DIOR Builders, Inc. was founded by Peter DiIorio in 1979 and has been among the premier luxury home builders since its inception. Peter came from Italy when he was 16 to finish school and began his pursuit of the American dream. He began remodeling jobs for a bank and transformed that experience to become an entrepreneur and start his own construction company. From there he built his first home in Long Grove, IL where he was personally involved in the installation of millwork and tile flooring as well as interior painting. The hands-on experience in the early days and his European heritage has given him invaluable knowledge in the design and construction aspects involved in the dynamic art of luxury home building.
Today, DIOR Builders has evolved into a family business adhering to the latest standards in construction as well as incorporating state-of-the-art technology to “future proof” each home for the information age by utilizing some of the same automation systems which have been used in numerous Las Vegas hotels and casinos. Instilled with the unrelenting commitment to fulfilling the demands of the client has earned DIOR Builders the reputation of being a first class luxury home builder leading to numerous design awards in the pursuit of excellence.
